Some tabloid newspapers in the UK have revealed that our Wazza committed some serious adultery by banging a bunch of prostitutes while his wife Coleen was pregnant with their baby boy. These allegations have not been denied by the Rooney camp yet (its been about 2 weeks now), so its pretty clear that there might be some truth to the story. Looks like we found the reason why our super striker was banging in goals left, right and center last season eh?
I have no issues with any footballer about how he conducts himself off the pitch. Yes, I like to follow all sorts of news about football, but I really don't care if John Terry fucked Wayne Bridge's ex, or Wayne Rooney paid for sex, if it does not affect their on-field performance. Having said that, while I keep myself detached from such acts of footballers, there are many kids out there, and many ladies out there who would have a much lower opinion of Rooney now. When you are such a high profile member of the society, like it or not, you need to be discreet. Real gentlemen are few and far between when it comes to the footballing world.
Reports say that he flaunted and flirted with these prossies at team parties as well. I mean, how can you be so irresponsible? Its ludicrous how idiots can be such intelligent footballers.
I cannot wait for the game tomorrow. I don't doubt for a second that he will play. Rooney is too proud to bow down to such public attacks. No matter how fucked up you are made out to be in the media, you will be branded a coward if you back off. Its going to be against Everton, a club Rooney grew up at, and is anyway a rowdy place to go to. It will definitely be very interesting to see how Rooney copes with the insults!
